Hello! I’m Francesco, and I’m a senior software engineer, focusing on Apple platforms and in particular iOS/iPadOS development. I have a background in computer science and physics, and an interest in graphics and data analysis. I have worked in academia doing research in physics and biophysics, worked in R&D in private companies, and since 2017 I have returned to my roots as a software developer.

I like photography in general, and nature, landscape, and street, in particular. Playing guitar and cooking are things that I like a lot, and the same is true for practicing karate. I love snorkelling and I try to practice it every time I can. I like to travel, see new places and meet different people and cultures. I am moreover interested in nature conservation and environmental issues, and I think that people should be much more careful in their actions and activities and governments should do much, much more to at the very least mitigate climate change. I love reading and I have an interest in graphic, design, and architecture, enjoying both a good sci-fi book as well as the study of color theory.

On this site you will find random things, ranging form technical blog posts, to some prose I wrote, to basically whatever I feel like sharing.
